Hawaiian Keyboard - Papa Pihi Hawai'i
Hawaiian Keyboard is a Chrome extension developed by keoladonaghy that provides a convenient way to type in the Hawaiian language on Chrome OS. With this extension, users can easily add kahakō (macron) symbols over lowercase vowels and type the glottal stop ('okina) character.
To use the Hawaiian Keyboard, simply install and activate the extension. Then, while typing, hold down the Right Alt key and simultaneously type the desired lowercase vowel to add the kahakō symbol. For uppercase vowels with the kahakō, hold down both the Right Alt key and the Shift key while typing the vowel. To type the glottal stop ('okina), hold down the Right Alt key and press the apostrophe key.
It's important to note that the Hawaiian Keyboard cannot be used in the username or password fields. This extension is a useful tool for those who need to type in the Hawaiian language on Chrome OS and provides an intuitive method for adding essential symbols.
